With the pending arrival of February, we're all "strapping in" for the real heart of our ski season just ahead. The snow has finally returned and the skiing is great, the recent holidays were absolutely terrific, and there's a sense of "good mojo" all the way around. (Always amazing the effect that a few good snowstorms have on us around here!)
Real estate activity over the holidays was as strong as I remember the past few years, focused in large part on the high end of our market. A number of sizable transactions are coming together valley-wide as a result of holiday activity. While the gyrations of the past few years have clearly demonstrated how tenuous this activity can be, hopes remain high that the next ten weeks will begin to lay a strong foundation as our market looks ahead. Time will tell... stay tuned!
In closing, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the successful year just past, and for your continued support, encouragement and trust as we move into the new year.
