The past few weeks of turmoil in the financial sector have served to remind us all of the uncertainties in life. Yet while driving my son to school this morning, enjoying the spectacular fall colors and crisp temperatures, I was reminded once again of the "constants"... a loving family, good friends, and this beautiful place in Colorado we are blessed to call home.

While our real estate market has definitely felt the impact of all the uncertainty, it continues to demonstrate an underlying strength as we approach the last quarter of the year. In spite of what you might have heard, significant transactions continue to occur throughout the Vail Valley. This leads me to believe that 2008, while far from a record-breaker, will represent yet another year of solid sales.
