What do you look for in a luxury broker? If you were to ask around town, you would hear that Led has made his mark in Vail Valley luxury real estate by way of an unparalleled reputation, intimate knowledge of his market, working above and beyond the norm, and in the end, getting results.
Following successful tenures at Xerox Corporation and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate in Nashville, Tennessee early in his business career, Led found himself asking the question "If I could live anywhere in the world, no holds barred, where would it be?" Having had close ties to the Rocky Mountains since his youth, Led first made a part time move to Vail in the winter of 1989.
Moving to the Vail Valley full time in 1998, Led quickly established a successful reputation in the luxury real estate market as a broker at Ron Byrne & Associates, where he focused on the sale of multi-million dollar properties. His next step was as a lead Partner at Sonnenalp Real Estate. Led and his partners quickly established the firm as the Valley's #1 boutique, luxury real estate brokerage at that time, which led to an affiliation with world renowned Christie's Great Estates.
After a decade of success in smaller, boutique brokerages, Led's desire to best serve his clients' needs ultimately led him to the flagship Bridge Street office of Slifer, Smith & Frampton. In conjunction with the company's deep pool of marketing resources and talent, Led's personal experience in developing, brokering and investing in resort real estate has positioned him well to serve the specialized needs of a discerning, high-end clientele.
Led's reputation for high standards, diligence, and doing the right thing resulted in his being named the recipient of Slifer, Smith & Frampton's distinguished "Standards of Excellence" award in 2011, and in 2012, the company's "Brokers Choice" award. In addition, Led has been recognized with "Golden Eagle" awards as a top producer within the company, and as the #1 producer for the Bridge Street Office in Vail.
Giving back to his profession, and his community, is another focus for Led. Recently elected to a new term as a Director of the Vail Board of Realtors, Led is pleased to again have the opportunity to serve our Realtor community. His six years as a Trustee on the Board of the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival was also most gratifying, as the organization attracted world-renowned talent to Vail's annual summer music festival. Serving on his Church Council for four years... two as President... provided a way to give back to something of great importance to his family. Service on other various boards, property owner associations and marketing and development committees has rounded out Led's professional experience, while leading groups of men in a terrific program called Mens Fraternity (www.mensfraternity.com) has taken on special meaning in his life for the past several years.
Now in his mid-fifties, Led remains most grateful to have the opportunity to conduct business, and raise a family, in this beautiful part of the world. Led, Connie and Chase thrive on the many activities that surround them, with a special passion for skiing and biking.
Looking back over the past twenty-four years in the Vail Valley brings about a feeling of heartfelt gratitude, something Led enjoys sharing with his clients, family and friends. Sharing the Vail lifestyle while assisting his clients pursue their Colorado dream is one of Led's favorite pastimes. It's also the reason that many of his clients become good friends... and many of his friends have become clients.
What does all of this mean to you? Enjoying your Vail Valley dream home is great fun. Yet its acquisition and eventual sale are serious business. Helping you accomplish these dreams with skill, professionalism and integrity is what Led enjoys most. He looks forward to the opportunity to be of service to you and your family.
